Ultra-fine bristles gathered by the craftsman’s hand
A voluminous brush for cleansing the entire face.
Every single brush head is handmade and the ultra-fine bristles collected in high density by the craftsmen in Kumano City, known for its technique and quality in brush making.
With a diameter of 0.1 mm, the ultra-fine bristles are smaller than a human pore. They clean and remove the dead skin cells that cause dirt and roughness to remain in the pores without rubbing.
Ease of use due to excellent craftsmanship
The center bristles are shortened using a technique that can only be executed by hand. The hollow allows quicker drying of the brush.
The indentation and the unique flat shape of the bristles provide a structure that keeps the foam in the centre and thereby improves the foaming effect considerably.
The brush consists of a blend of quick-drying, durable PBT bristles and soft goat hair that is suitable for face brushes. Goat hair is wavy with a frizzy texture allowing air to be contained when lathering, thus creating a dense foam. The lathering process is further improved by the softness of the extra-long bristles, 43 mm the longest in the company's history, that bend easily.
The cylindrical shape of the Kumano ROTUNDA brush series is reminiscent of the round buildings built in Europe in the Middle Ages and is at the origin of the name of the series. The Kumano ROTUNDA brushes combine functionality with a pure and modern design.
