Daigogama is a renowned manufacturer of Raku Yaki ceramics, Kyoto's most celebrated ceramics style, well-known for its association with tea ceremony objects. The unique glazing technique highlights the beautiful clay texture, creating an unmistakable warmth in each piece. For generations, Daigogama has been crafting exclusive and original tableware that captivates.

Introducing the latest endeavor from the 4th-generation artisan, Shizuka Shima – RAKUAMI, a brand dedicated to bringing the beauty of Raku Yaki into your home.

RAKUAMI: The Elegance of Raku Yaki for Your Home

When Kyoto served as the capital during the Heian era, the city was protected by the five deities, known as the "Goshin." These deities were rooted in the Chinese concepts of Yin-Yang and the five elements.

In the RAKUAMI collection, these five Gods come to life in the form of animals, each symbolizing good fortune. These creatures are showcased on exquisite ceramic bowls with lids, available in various colors. The Rakuami pieces serve as both calming talismans and charming ornaments – perfect as gifts for your loved ones, with the option of storing precious objects inside.

SEIRYUThe Blue Dragon – God of the East
