The Landscape Collection is a collaboration between the Parisian designers collectif Prèmices, and Takeshi Nishimura, Kyoto Yuzen pattern artist who carves stencils, a traditional Japanese technique, into leather.
When confectioning kimono, either formal or kimono for special occasions, and depending on the dyeing method and purpose, it is necessary to carve from few to hundred pattern stencils, and then dyed from a single piece of pattern paper by the Yuzen stencil maker. Using the same skills used in the Kimono making, Takeshi Nishimura,
the first yuzen engraver to be recognized by the city of Kyoto as a "master of the future".
LANDSCAPE is a contemporary silhouette and beautiful pointillism that invites the viewer to travel through a delicate and rich Japanese scenery.
LANDSCAPE is a highly original storage item to keep your desk tidy. It is a beautifully organized way to keep your favorite items close at hand.
This collection is the result of a collaboration between French and Japanese craftsmen, using the "Point Sellier" technique, a traditional French harness-making technique.
