With a legacy spanning 180 years of traditional craftsmanship and profound wisdom, Nanjo Kobo stands as a distinguished workshop in Kyoto, specializing in the crafting of Sahari Orin bells.
The "Sahari" alloy, a blend of copper and tin, was originally employed for the Shōsō-in, the treasured repository of Todai-ji temple in Nara. After extensive research, a unique composition of copper and tin was formulated, resulting in the Sahari Orin bell's resonant and crystalline tones. Its gentle, soothing chime, created by the play of wind and air, seamlessly adapts to indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for placement near entrances, fans, or balconies.
The exquisitely designed LinNe bell is certain to bring joy and tranquility into your daily life.
The LinNe bell collection comes in different sizes, pendant and string combinations.

Materials:
Sahari (copper alloy)
Brass
Pure Silk
Usage Precautions:
・The LinNe Ren SP series is coated with fluorine to bring out the original alloy color of Sahari by polishing off the discoloration that occurs during finishing. This is done to allow you to enjoy the color for a longer period.
・LinNe Ren comes in a box with the brass plate removed. Please insert the S-shaped hook attached to the main body into the hole in the brass plate. The S-shaped hook can be inserted directly as there is a gap for the brass plate to fit in.
・LinNe Ren is handmade one by one, so there may be differences in color, shape, size, and tone.
・The color of Sahari's alloy will deepen over time. Occasionally wiping off fingerprints with a towel or similar will result in a more uniform amber color.
・Surface roughness is a characteristic of traditional casting. Please enjoy the uniqueness of handmade items and the changes over time. (The brass plate for wind reception will also change over time due to its copper alloy nature.)
・Sahari's alloy has increased tin content to achieve a desired tone. It may crack or develop fissures if subjected to very strong impact. Even if there is no visible damage, the sound may no longer resonate. Therefore, we kindly request that you handle it with care.»
