From wood grain to Nature’s art
The tray is made from thinly sliced Keyaki wood veneer. Keyaki, also known as Zelkova is a typical Japanese wood, characterized by its yellow color and clear grain. The yellow grain, which shines like sunlight, changes over time to a darker and rich yellow.
The more you use it, the more beautiful it becomes.
Enjoy the vibrant design made possible with the work of Mori Kougei. Cut and pasted one by one, the triangular thin slices of keyaki wood are placed together, like ray lights emanating from the center.
You will enjoy Keyaki wood, and its patina that will develop over the time. Why don’t you add more color in your daily life ?
