A fabric parasol created in collaboration with the well-known Kyoto-based brand SOU・SOU (https://www.sousou.co.jp/), that promotes the concept of creating a new Japanese culture through domestically made split-toe footwear (jikatabi), traditional clothing, furniture, and everyday goods.

While retaining the elegant structure of a traditional Japanese umbrella (wagasa), this parasol has been reimagined for modern life-styles, with a compact form that is easy to carry and handle.

The handle, made of black-lacquered wood, can be separated into two pieces with a screw mechanism, making it easy to carry when stored in the included umbrella bag. The bag’s opening can be folded over or tied and carried like a stylish handbag.

A Versatile Parasol for Both Sun and Sudden Rain

Made from cotton fabric with UV protection treatment and a water-repellent Pearl Tone coating, this parasol is designed for use in both sunny and rainy weather. Available in six color and pattern options, each features a textile design with its own unique charm.
